The moment I opened the box and saw the ring I was disappointed. There was absolutely no variation in the wood grain so it looked solid black, and the string didn’t even look distinctly like a guitar string because it was too thin (unlike the higher gauge string in the pic). I can’t wear this thing forever as a symbol of my love for my wife, it’s too disappointing to look at. Now, for a ring that never should have been sent to me, I have to go through the hassle of returning it, and I have eat the $38 “easy return and package protection”. Don’t waste your time and money.
I’ve added pics of the ring I received, plus pics of two of my guitars to show how thin the ring’s string is by comparison.

After finally receiving the product their process of no communication letting you know the steps of where your product is at or communication unless you contact them is troublesome. After finally receiving the product I was much disappointed. The quality of this item is poor it’s like coated in a plastic or resin and is super scratch able not the feel of wood and looks like it was made for $50! Would rather have spent this amount at a jewelry store.. not worth $500!
