I initially wanted to purchase “The Garand” because I wanted a darker band around the wood. However I could not be happier with “The MacArthur.” The wood and Titanium contrast extremely well. The Titanium is not as shiny as is pictured and is slightly dull which I prefer.
The ring is light and fits well. I purchased a 9.5 and there is a little wiggle room. The “Best Man” pack that came with the ring is a nice addition as well. It shipped with size 10 and I wear them while at work since I continually wear and remove gloves. I highly recommend Manly Bands and will be purchasing again in the future if need be!

My husband and I scrolled through the website for hours trying to decide on our favorite ring. We finally agreed on The MacArthur and I am truly so pleased with this ring. We wanted a traditional silver ring but something a little unique that catches the eye. This ring is just that…a manly band. Having the real wood even makes it feel like you’re wearing a piece of history around with you. A few people have already noticed he upgraded rings and are asking where he got his. We both love that the ring comes with a silicone band. With his line of work, he’s able to easily swap bands out for his rubber ring when he is at the fire station.
I am writing the review purely because of how much I appreciate their policy on a free return for a new size. Even though we measured his finger, we were still off a size. Returning it was so simple and we got the new size back in about a week. I couldn’t be more thankful for that.
Price felt like a steal, this ring, with the materials it’s made from and unique look should easily be $1k. PLUS the silicone ring? Some websites sell those alone for close to $30 so having that as a free bonus was a cherry on top.
Overall, we couldn’t recommend Manly Bands or this specific ring enough.

Decent ring. Very lightweight. Feels like it'll break under too much pressure, but we dropped a big enough chunk of money on it that we aren't going to test it. Nice enough.
