And why doesn't Batman dance anymore? Remember the Batusi?
I'd never owned a hammered ring before, the style just didn't appeal to me. I came across this ring while searching online for a Batman themed ring, and while it didn't immediately shout BATMAN to me (but lordy I'd pay real money for a ring that literally shouts that,) I was impressed by how it uses a resin channel as the main focus, letting the hammered edge areas be more of an accent.
Then, when I noticed the scalloped pattern inside the resin, I finally made the connection - it evokes the edges of Batman's cape. Or the teeth of the exploding rubber shark that's about to bite his leg. Your choice.
I'll admit that I was hesitant about the list price. I mean, I don't have Bruce Wayne money. If I did, I'd buy "The Lannister" in a heartbeat. That ring's got my birthstones & everything. Fortunately, there was a 30% off sale running, so I pulled the trigger, which is probably a bad choice of words when discussing something Batman-related. Sorry, Bruce.
Zirconium becomes a fantastic ring material when you heat it enough to blacken it, and the comfort fit inner edge should be a standard on all rings. I barely feel like it's there on my finger, and when I notice it, I end up admiring it for several seconds just staring into the patterns.
The one negative aspect about this is that the resin surface does scratch or scuff pretty easily. I work in a hospital environment, and after a week of wear there's already a thin…

Rugged looking, yet elegant with the carbon fiber. Smooth fitting and free engraving too? I’ll take it! I love my ring so much and can’t wait to wear it everyday without worrying if I’m going to scratch it. My real one is white gold and I want to wear that for special occasions. I already have a silicone one for active gym days and hot days, but every other day, this is perfect! The Batman was the exact ring I was looking for. It also has my wedding date, 5/5/24 :)

I got this ring for my husband as a 10yr wedding anniversary gift. His skin is so sensitive to almost all metals and this rings has not bothered him and all. Ring was true to size. Ordered a size 9. He loves the ring and the comfort of it.
